Team Planet Heart is proud to return this year to help raise funds for the Congenital Heart Walk! The event will be held on Sunday, November 6th, at 8am, at the Tempe Diablo Stadium in Tempe, AZ.
The event raises funds for research to help people who are born with congenital heart challenges.
The fundraiser is an empowering day full of happy families who walk together. There are plenty of heartastic (TM) activities and attractions like bouncy houses, the Planet Heart craft table, Lovelle–the Planet Heart HeartMarking mascot–all there to make it a fun family time!
Yes, once again Team Planet Heart will host a table of crafts from Planet Heart! We promise to return some of the favorites from last year, plus some new heartastic surprises!
Anyone can come for free to enjoy the event. Any type of contribution is welcome!

The Congenital Heart Walk is an exciting joint effort between the Adult Congenital Heart Association (ACHA) and the Children’s Heart Foundation (CHF)! This effort will raise funds to help both organizations continue their missions to address the needs of both the newly diagnosed and long-term survivors of congenital heart defects.
Here are just some of the facts: Nearly two million children and adults are living with a congenital heart defect (CHD) in the United States. Each year approximately 40,000 babies are born with a CHD, making it the country’s #1 birth defect. At least 10% of all congenital heart defects are first found in adulthood. Thanks to increases in survival rates, the number of adults living with a CHD rises by 5% a year and adults with CHDs are living longer, fuller lives than ever before. Your support will continue our progress.
Please visit the website to join Team Planet Heart, or please check out the Planet Heart shop to buy some t-shirts. The earnings from your contribution will go directly to heart research!
