Team Planet Heart's trademark heart hand to help raise funds for research through the Congenital Heart Walk!
Team Planet Heart is the sponsor of the craft tables for the Second Annual Congenital Heart Walk 2011 held Sunday, November 6th at the Tempe Diablo Stadium! This is also Planet Heart’s second year contributing to the event. The Planet Heart booth will offer children a variety of original crafts and arts that are 100% made of hearts. Planet Heart is very excited to be a part of this worthy fundraiser, as all funds go directly to research for cutting edge solutions to congenital heart challenges.
Like last year, Planet Heart will offer a variety of age appropriate activities. Children will draw in the Heart Mandala books. They will play building games with the trademark heart that artist Tali Lehavi invented. Children will also have a chance to use the new patented stencils and cookie cutters to create very unique images based on Lehavi’s latest books. Other surprise inventions will debut. All of Lehavi’s work is represented by the heart hand gesture called the HeartMark, which Lehavi invented, patented, and trademarked–as seen in use now by Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.
The Congenital Heart Walk is a free family event. In addition to the Planet Heart craft tables, there will be bouncy houses, Yippi Yoga, and other fun attractions.
Registration is from 8-9am. The event ends with an awards ceremony at 11am. For those who cannot join the walk but would like to donate to this worthy cause, a Team Planet Heart website will welcome contributions. Any amount will be highly appreciated. The funds go directly to research.
